1. Use of Novera

Novera provides reading, vocabulary, grammar, speaking, translation, progress tracking, reminder, and premium learning features for personal, non-commercial use. By using Novera, you agree to use the service responsibly and comply with applicable laws.

2. Accounts

Some features may require account creation or sign-in through Firebase Authentication, Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or other supported providers. You are responsible for keeping your account access secure.

3. Intellectual Property

All content within Novera, including stories, lesson content, vocabulary materials, grammar materials, speaking materials, design elements, branding, illustrations, icons, and interface components, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, scrape, or create derivative works from Novera content except as allowed by law or with written permission.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to misuse Novera, interfere with the service, attempt to bypass premium access controls, reverse engineer the app, use the service for unlawful purposes, or submit private or sensitive text to translation or dictionary features unless you are comfortable with it being processed by external providers.

5. Premium Features and Subscriptions

Novera may offer optional premium features, free trials, promotional offers, and auto-renewable subscriptions under the Novera Premium title. Novera Premium may be offered as monthly, six-month, or yearly access. Website purchases are processed by Paddle. Mobile app purchases are processed by the app store where the purchase was made. Subscription prices, billing periods, renewal terms, trial terms, and available offers are shown before purchase in the checkout or store purchase sheet. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled according to the applicable provider rules. Novera does not store your full payment card details.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Website subscriptions purchased through Paddle are managed through Paddle's checkout, receipts, and customer support flows. Mobile subscriptions are managed through the store account where the purchase was made. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled according to the applicable provider rules and our Refund Policy.

7. Third-Party Services

Novera may rely on third-party services for authentication, billing, translation, dictionary lookup, speech recognition, notifications, platform functionality, and device sharing. Speech features may use Apple Speech Recognition on iOS, Google speech services on Android, or the speech recognition provider configured on your device. Translation and dictionary features may send selected text to external lookup providers.

8. Speaking and Translation Features

Speaking lessons, text-to-speech, speech recognition, dictionary, and translation features are provided for learning support only. Results may be imperfect, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. Novera is not a professional translation, legal, medical, immigration, academic, or certification service.

9. Availability and Changes

Novera may change, add, limit, suspend, or remove features, content, prices, offers, or supported services at any time where allowed by law and store rules.
